Default Silverado Torqstorm Supercharger kit!! $3100

Well guys, finished the install on our test mule. Thought I would post an update. We have a baseline graph from a few years ago. The truck made only 234/279 and now tuned with the supercharger it made 408/413. A gain of over 150rwhp, pretty significant considering the rest of the setup on the truck. Stock cam and exhaust is holding this thing back from reaching near 500 whp or more.

Please excuse the old crusty engine bay. This is an old michigan truck.

The customer chose to use an air to water setup with his truck. This is not part of our kit, customer supplied and installed.
You most certainly may run an air to air setup or hot air with meth. The freedom is yours.
At this time we will be selling the kit as a tuner kit. This way the customer can decide which direction they would like to go.

Vehicle:
2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the 6.0/4l80e 160k miles. 60# injectors, need to upgrade fuel pump.

With the 3.25 we are seeing 10# boost. Drives completely stock until you push the pedal!!

The revised kit has a better belt drive with an automatic spring tensioner, with no sign of belt slip at this pulley combo.

Electric fans are required.

List Price: $3100 for complete Supercharger kit. Limited Lifetime warranty included.
Tune, fuel supply and intercooler not included.

Accepting orders now.

We sell them as tuner kits, no tune or fuel provided. There is no carb number sorry.

Funny... My buddy has a 2001 2500HD with a brand new LQ9 and a new 6l90 (yes, we got it to work)

I put a little baby Cam Motion Stage 1 6.0 truck cam (204/212, 116+4, high-lift version) in it along with 1 7/8" LT's, no cats and 3" TD's. We were just talking yesterday about him wanting to supercharge it.
How would this do for "all around" stuff? He was leaning towards a PD blower, but I won't shut this one out either.

It would work great. Centrifugal's are more efficient than pd blowers. Our supercharger comes standard with the best warranty in the business. We have tested the durability of our unit. And are confident in the dependability of it.

That simply means if you are running a carb, it needs to be blow through.

Yesterday I thought it said it was REQUIRED, as in "not for efi".... I must've been mistaken.

Currently discussing with my friend now. Looks like a quality kit, priced right, and the warranty is huge for him.

If you could get tq to come in a little sooner with a bov that would be a great kit.

Correct it is just there for the guys that are running carburetors. They are certainly quality pieces.

Not sure how the BOV determines when the torque comes in. It simply closes when there is no vacuum. But thank you for the compliment on the kit. We appreciate it.

Do you offer different sized head units? I noticed on your site you have single and dual supercharger setups, but didn't see mention of unit sizes.

because you wouldn't be just relying on the rpm vs pulley combo. Drive the charger a little harder so it makes boost earlier and blow off what you don't want up top.

That is correct. We make one size head unit at this time. It is capable of near 800hp. It flows 1250 cfm and is all billet construction, straight cut gears, ceramic bearing, self contained, Built right here in house, and has a limited lifetime warranty.

I believe you are confusing the function of a waste gate with a bov. Under throttle the bov (bypass valve) will not open until it see's vacuum.

Could be...my bad if i am. But i thought waste gates was typically referring to the exhaust side .

For a truck be nice to see tq come in at about 3k rpm to be more useful. Then you could get more use out of the blower. 4k rpm you typically only see that in 2nd gear on those truckd even with the 4:10 rear when pulling a load. 3k rpm in drive with that kinda power you would almost never need 2nd gear for pulling.

Our supercharger starts building boost around 1800rpm. Here is a little video of the one on the otherwise bone stock 6.0.

you need a wastegate on the charge pipe for that, not a BOV.
