Default Happy with the cars performance today (2 new personal best) vids inside

First time making a full 1/4 mile pass on a real tire, and the car is finally getting halfway fast. Not sure what the DA is, but I can tell you it's fairly warm today.... high of 90, probably more like 80 degrees at the time of these passes. Still not leaving in boost, just on the converter a little bit (1800ish) rolling into it still. All in all it was a very good day.... made a couple of passes and I'm about to drive it home. I'm finally pleased with the cars performance.

Thanks guys. I hear ya truckdoug, I was staged against a girl yesterday when I ran the daily. Evidently she thought it was good enough to simply get close to the tree. On my soul, I thought I was going to run out of gas waiting for her to stage. Car really seemed to run good today, the secret to getting this paper machet drivetrain to live is to mat it about 60ft out. Pulled nice and hard all the way through high gear after the 60ft roll on.

Nice job man! I love seeing this being done on the stock 10 bolt. Whenever I start worrying about mine, I try and remember yours, and then I feel a little better lol

I agree, but was just scared to kill another pinion yoke.

I think some of it is the power adder that's used. If your nitrous is progressive, you may be fine for a while.... but if it's all of it at once, in combination with you still being 6 speed... be careful.

So I drove the car to the track yesterday in 90 degree heat, with the AC blasting and it never got over 200 degrees. Stopped at the corvette museum before going to the track, and just made the whole day about cars. Made a couple hits, and drove home with zero issues. If you haven't been to the vette museum, it's really a nice place to visit. I live in the area, and am ashamed to admit I'm just now getting around to it. Here's a couple of vettes that were totalled when the sinkhole happened a few years ago, one was a C4 zr1 😢.

Nice runs! Now hurry up and get a rear end in it and work on that reaction time also. I don't want to see any videos online of you getting beat by a demon. Just giving ya a hard time...I want to see it at its full potential.

Dem words there are fighting words sir!! Full tilt I will be the exorcist for those demons . Jokes aside, but even full tilt... beating a heavily modded demon won't be exactly easy, no walk in the park.

Would be nice for sure. To be honest, I really don't feel like doing it.... but it must be done at some point. Had a 7.5 case that was going to be delivered to me for some wheels I have, but as with most things when it comes to me... it fell through at least temporarily.

These new mopars are no joke, but don't sell yourself short. Get that '60 down to 1.5 or better leaving in boost and you could be mid 9's with that trap speed.

I hear ya, it really is painful that we have to upgrade to a $3,000 rear end on these cars.
