Thanks man. I spend most of my time at mid michigan and some occasional 131 trips.

Redoing the entire thing right now. Decided to keep it and step it up a bit.

haha right!! This day and age the bar is pretty high. Coyote guys are kicking *** and staying streetable.
Most of the ls guys do 1/8th mile stuff.

So many exaggerated street car claims.
It definitely sucks with the cage. But Ill still take it on a few highway cruises for a few thousand miles a year.

Im pretty excited too. I never thought Id be able to afford this kind of ****.

Im not pulling the engine either. Fresh oil in the spring and go!

i'm running the same trans, but a mild setup. 5.3/799 head SBE with Cometic MLS/studs, with ARP rod bolts, rings opened to .028/.032", BTR Stg 3 valvetrain upgrades, billet S480, E85, MS3Pro Evo. Same injectors as you. Plan to carefully push it slowly to 26 psi or so.
Hoping to manage 5.60's in the 1/8
in a 2900-3000lb car. Possible?

Back to ur old combo.. you picked up nearly 9mph in the 1/8 just by utilizing better front shocks and putting power in quicker? That's einsNe If nothing else was changed.

I ask because my car is going 124 to th 1/8 but with a crappy 1.38 short time and I feel the mph is off bu a decent amount. I bet a better 60" will net more trap speed.

I didnt add any power. I literally just kept my foot on the throttle.

When it was doing the wheelies i lifted throttle 2-3 times.

I literally changed nothing but shocks.
