Can Turbo Replicate the Feel of Natural Aspiration?

if your trying to say, use the build on a road course, Yes you can design the package to be more linear down low and deliver power as you mash the throttle, yet that requires a standalone Engine management system to get boost by gear, speed and throttle, will it’s be exactly the same as a NA engine not quite yet the lag can be nearly eliminated as welll as the sledgehammer hit of power to drive off corners and be able to ramp power to suit the traction available for that day... this would be a purpose built engine for a targeted result not a Pro-Mod power level trying to tame 1800 HP😆🤣!!! A well sorted 1000HP turbo engine could be a beat in the right package anywhere with a tune changing how it behaves 👍💯 an NA engine isn’t so lucky😎

While this thread is old as dirt, I'm on the fence nearly every week deciding between my custom 427 block with the Harrop Hurricane and a turbo. The 427 will go into my Chevy SS Sedan DD 4000lb. with a 6L80 and not likely be tracked'. Tough call ~

AMG feels like NA in terms of response, but that wall of torque from just above idle up is moon beams beyond anything NA could do no matter what your budget. The bigger question is why would you want a turbo to drive like NA? The entire reason to have boost is to go BEYOND NA.
