LSA supercharger on '99 Z28 (possible) build thread

Hi all long time lurker and after doing many searches I couldn't find much more info.

The kit I'm planning on purchasing is:
https://boostdistrict.com/collections/1998-02-fbody-supercharger-kit/products/98-02-camaro

From my understanding this kit will work with the f body accessories and I won't have to convert to a truck FEAD. I will call to confirm this. I'm also grabbing some k-member spacers to drop it about a 1/2 to 3/4" and chopping the cowl.

My question is other than the a new oil pump, timing chain, springs, and pushrods what else would I need to get this up and running reliably?

I was planning on purchasing a NW 102 throttle body (how doI get this to work with the LSA) and does anyone know where I can grab the connectors for the new injectors? Ls3 MAF??

How will the engine read boost and run? I'm new to the Chevy world and have previously turbo'd a foxbody which was easy (got away with 42lb injectors, calibrated MAF, and a walbro)

I don't trust myself to tune but I would like to have everything installed and idling before I have the car towed to Speed Inc. to keep this as cheap as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Throttle body won’t fit because the 102 blade is bigger than the opening in the blower snout. You may be able to run a spacer and get it to clear, but I ended up running a 92mm with no issues. You can also go and port it to get it to fit. As far as running right, obviously youll need to bring it somewhere for a tune. For actually making boost, its as simple as attaching a belt and spinning the blower. Don’t be turned off by the sensors and electronics you see on the lid and snout, those wont be used with your swap. Only thing I’m using on the lid is one MAP sensor and the Zl1 IAT sensor built into the lid. Only thing you need to do in order to build boost is disconnect the solenoid from the front of the snout, and route a vaccum line from manifold vacuum to the V labled vacuum port on the black cylinder aka bypass valve on the left side of the snout.

I made youtube videos on my entire blower swap start to finish. Check it out, it might answer your questions a little better.

Definitely just watched your videos for a couple of hours lol. Extremely thorough and answered all of my questions. Now I'm pumped to get this thing started. I'll update this thread as I go along. Anyone need a fast 92??
