Default Hot side from merge to turbo on promod style turbine housing

I have a gt5533r with a tial housing. The turbine housing is 3.5 inlet my merge has a 3" single exit. Should i increase the pipe from my merge to turbo to 3.5 right after merge or wait till it enters turbo? Theres about 20" from merge to turbo. Thanks

Unless you're attempting to max out the turbo, then no, you don't need to increase it.
Also, flaring out the 3" to 3.5" at the end isn't going to gain you any flow without replacing all of the 3".

So a single 3" to right before turbo then 3.5". Turbo inlet is 3.5 so i got to increase it some where between the merge and turbo inlet.
