What will it make? Old school combo in 2018 So I have a 86 c10 that was my first truck so I figured Id show it some love after about 10 years of neglecting it. This is what ive come up with so far and its nearing completion. Im curious what everyone thinnks it might make.
Its a ls1 sbe with 231/236 112 lsa camshaft with prc 227 cnc heads, truck manifold with longtubes, 4l80e, will be 2 bar flex with a vortech v1 with air to water intercooler. Any thoughts? THe motor is 12.2 compression with the 227 heads. Will be tuned on e85 and im not afraid to vent the block lol. I wanted to put together a old combo and see if with better fuel, meth injection etc... what ones of these combos would make sense I feel they got a bad rap back in the day (vortech 5.3 truck stuff) for not making much power.
