I'm sure it'll need that! What driveshaft were you using previously? I have the Denny's Nitrous ready (good to 1,000hp I think). Kudos also for the 'built it myself'. It was an incredible outcome already but add to it that, you did it yourself, makes it all the more so. I know some people don't have the time or expertise (while having money) to build such things themselves and I don't fault them for wanting the killer combo and paying others to create it. But there is something altogether transcendently satisfying about creating, fabricating and assembling such mechanical works of performing art.

They say the aluminum is 3 times easier for vibration and shock over a chromoly and the carbon is twice as easy on drivetrain parts than aluminum. I forget the exact rating but it was quite a bit of difference.
Im sure I wont notice anything but the lifetime protection makes me feel good.
Its a long story but I had engines built for me when I was a kit and not comfortable doing it myself. I had a company build me a honda engine and had upwards of $6,000 into it back in 2004 when i was 18. It was a big deal to me. I ended up having nothing but troubles with it. Went back to a stock engine. Then had nothing but troubles with tuners cracking ringlands. So I decided then and there if anyone was wasting my money it would be me. So since 2005 I have built and tuned every car I have had.
I built or assembled everything on the car other than the transmission. Purchased that straight from FTI.
Once your money, reputation, and efforts are on the line. You learn a whole new understanding of things.
Otherwise if I had the money Id gladly pay someone I knew could get the job done for me. Unfortunately I have almost all of what I can spare into this. lol

I remember seeing that. You are one of the guys that made me think it was a good time to upgrade. I especially like how its not supposed to damage anything else if and when it breaks!

Here was the most expensive 10 pounds I have ever saved in my entire life. If nothing else. I feel like I am higher class now. lol.
I should have bought a hood or hatch!

That's awesome that you're doing all this by yourself. I wish I was as mechanically inclined and had the time. I do enjoy doing the research and working with all the vendors to get the job done, but sometimes I do wish I could do most of it myself.
