what ECU? what comp ratio and how much power?
Ms3 Evo. I only ever put it on the dyno once. It trapped 142 1/8th / 174 1/4 when it weighed 3,250 and made 1,350 to the tire.

its high 10's:1. About 10.6/10.7

ran 153 in the 1/8th where I left off with the 88mm s400.

Finally finished mounting everything. So pulled it all out to sand, fill, and paint the bay.

Very nice! Loves the car previously and it should be a monster now. How much power do you think that motor is good for? It's still a K1 crank correct? 1500 rwhp max is what I've seen from them based on my research. Your set up should be capable of making significantly more than that given the turbo.

That was really all I built the engine for. I just look at it this way ... stock bottom engines should ever have been able to make 1,100+ lol

I planned to switch the crank but I know a guy with a k1 crank and h beams running 7.1@195 and 200 pounds heavier than I am. He has run that rotating assembly for 4-5 years being in the 7's the entire time.
I think I can make it last a bit.

Ill make my all out runs count haha

That's awesome! I'm putting molnar crank and rods in my dart 388 so I'll be keeping a close eye on how much you make. Be nice to know the limits.

I know of a handful of them over 150 in the 1/8th. Just not a lot of people run a 1/4 anymore. I dont know too many people breaking pistons, rods, or cranks.
I personally feel like that is a a sign of being real aggressive with it even being a 6 bolt and all that. I havent ran anymore than 13 degrees of timing in mine.

When I run the half mile events Im only down on 9-10 degrees and 11.6/11.7 afr.
Ive never hurt a piston, crank or rod with my gentle tuning theory.

We have a turbo. Lets make the power with the turbo. Excessive timing is just going to hurt things.

Its just the hurst pistol grip rmvb. it can be used for 2 or 3 speed. I love it. Its beefy. I shift pretty for some reason and its held up. Ive broke the round shafts off before lol

Dang, that cage is beautiful. Did you do it all yourself?

My car has been in the chassis shop since May with not much progress... sigh...

Yes. I did the cage myself. I dont have a ton of money to work with so I do everything myself lol.

I own a small shop in a small town. So I pick and choose work through the year. Ls swaps in classic cars and cam/tuning jobs.
Winter time I slow down up here in the snow belt so I get quite a bit of time to tinker.
