Hemi Screw vs LSX Turbo

Fun race to watch from last Friday when we won the Run What Ya Brung class. It was a mix of radial and big tire cars and the track was a little tricky on the radial but we dialed it in nicely.

This car is so damn impressive! It baffles me that someone thinks they are just going to come out with a bag of money and take the LS record from guys that have been dialing in and testing for years.

Right it is not easy, and we are running the ETs and MPH consistent with the Hemis, 481X, and 900-1000ci nitrous engines! On top of that wining some races and qualifying well at events. Its been a long road! Pretty wild that pass had a 1.2 second pedal job for a big wheelie at 200-350ft and still went deep into the 3.8x range.

I’m still surprised how common it’s become to have people crowding in the burnout box.

Awesome! Love this car.

That’ll change once someone takes a ujoint in the yap. The crowds at the starting line and waterbox are just stupid IMO

I agree very very dangerous!!! I cannot believe more people have not been seriously injured! Its very common for that type of culture and racing during no time events though. I often have to push people out of my way to stage the car and they look at me like I am the bad guy for doing so.

Yeah no doubt and when someone gets hurt it's somehow the racers fault

Very easy to rectify. Tell them you’re gonna shut the cars off until everyone moves. But then they’ll probably try and behead the announcer and set the tower on fire.

The new “culture” has not only taught new fans that this is an acceptable practice, but actually made it a position of status. I was considering going to a no prep kings event and looking at tickets. You can pay more for vip tickets to stand on the starting line. Ugh.

Waiting to see a driveshaft spit out the back and take a bunch down like bowling pins.

One badass car though
