Default new best but killed my pg case.

got a chance to run the nova today . first time sense going t6 devided. and new jarrett 224 cam. she is a beast. made a easy first run to check afr so I just left a 3000 rpm with no 2 step.

1.47 60.
5.88 at 122 mph 1/8
9.12 @150 mph

I couldn't believe it. wow does it like this cam and bigger turbine.

second I left harder.

1.37
5.77 @121.90
9.01 @ 149.80.

next was like the first but a little better with a 9.08 et

last run it left hard and revved up about a car out so I just drove it back easy and it never leaked a drop until I turned it off. but the left side of the pg case has a 6 inch break on the left side.might be to much for a glide at 3510 weight.

still all steel nova. 6.0 with jfr cam 1.76 glide and 3.42 10 bolt 275 pro's

Might be time for an aftermarket case-your engine sounds like the one Jarrett won Dragweek with, lol.
You got the Nova rolling, always like that car. Good job

The cases live if you mount them correctly and keep the line pressure down

Sounds like you blew out the reverse piston apply area on the case

You are asking for it over 200psi line pressure

thanks never checked line pressure bought the trans used and have ran it for 4 years. I released the t brake and it went about 5 feet and free revved. so I let off and it drove easy back to the pits and never leaked a drop until I turned it off. blew the side out from the shift shaft rearward. . I have not tried reverse. just rolled it into the garage. but both forward gears still work.

I could not be happier tune is soft. 14 degrees and 18 lbs boost. e85. im not sure my 80# dekas have much left but the t6 devided hotside and jarrett 224 cam rock..lol.

I’ve no clue how you are pushing Deka 80 to that level. On E85

I run 58 psi base fuel pressure. feeding the rails with two 3/8 fuel lines and two return lines. the duty cycle is over 110% but it keeps holding afr. if I go in and add 15% fuel to the table it will flood it out and wont make power. I had a good long talk with mike at efisourse about duty cycle calculations and he told me the duty cycle is based of off a mathematical equation and that does not meen you are out of injector. he said if you can add to the table and it gets richer then you are not out of injector yet. not to mention that deka 80s are rated at 43 psi and I run 58 psi. but I will agree it is close and whould be nervus turning it up much .LOL.
