He had some belt issues, and didn't worry about it.......

You NEED to worry about the belt issues

You should NEVER gaurantee anything when it comes to racing, there are soooo many variables that you cant count on, belts, tires, track condition, the guy in the other lane, the guy that just raced infront of you.

Maybe try an RR pulley and see how it holds up?
