Where's the power?? What is going on here? I have a 1999 Ta with an ati blower m6 373 gears 6 rib set-up that I have had dyno tuned at 604rwhp and 570rwtq. Then I went to the track and everything went to hell. My best was 11.79 Here is the only slip I could find from the night 60' --- 1.696 330 --- 4.919 1/8 --- 7.681 mph --- 90.54 1000 --- 10.019 1/4 --- 11.999 mph --- 114.99 shifts were fast, not pro fast, but good strong shifts. My question is where is all my power going?? belt slip maybe?? |

that's not right, your mph with that much hp is off big time |
How long ago did you dyno? do you have a boost gauge? |
That is what a 344rwhp car should be running. Where did the other 300 go? |
Sorry guys I was away from my computer for a few days. I just sent my pulley setup to SD Concepts. I am upgrading from stock 6 rib to their 8 rib setup with the steel plate. The guy at SD Concepts said it is either lotttts of belt slip or the belt is hopping when I shift. No belt hop on the dyno because I kept it in the same gear. I do have a boost gauge, but it does not record boost and kinda small to watch at the track. I went to the dyno about a week before taking it to the track. Anymore ideas please chime in. Thanks |
