I believe STS clone was used and you should read his patent.

There is a fine line, not saying you can or can't but I DO know that Harley Davidson put a patent on the sound of their bikes. Kinda weird but I guess if it's unique, or you feel it's unique, you can patent anything.

So are you guys talking about a FI system for a 10 sec car? What would the costs be for a FI system to run mid to high 11s? The STS kit is I think the most bag for the buck!! I am tryin to get one but the cost is the only thing that is keepin me from gettin one!

A stock internal LS1 is a 10 second setup in the right car (A C5 did it I think). There are around 60 stock internal LS1's running 11's on this board alone.

The ET is more in the car's setup (weight, tire, suspension, trans) than the RWHP.

There have been people with 550 RWHP in the 9's, and people with 700 RWHP in the 11's.

We'd need to know a lot more about your setup before saying "You need XXX RWHP to hit mid 11's."

Even then, we'd only be able to tell you what your should/could be running, not necessarily what you will run.

If I'm correct then he's not violating any patents until he sells it for a profit. I read the patent because I built a similar kit myself however did NOT sell it, I used it solely for my car as I'm sure he is doing.

Edit: Oh and to those who think it's not much cheaper to build the kit yourself then let me tell you that your wrong. It cost me WAY under $2k to build the similar kit for my car and that included all of the gauges, a better turbo, a better wastegate and a better BOV, that is assuming the STS comes with a BOV.
