Just finished installing the cog setup on our F1R kit. 1000RWHP through a 6L80E!!!! Enjoy....

Dayuuuum! Impressed with the hp #'s, but what was done to the 6L to make it live at those power levels?

That's an awesome setup. We definetly need more details on the engine setup. I was just thinking about the 6l80e and how much power it would be good for.

It is a LSX 427 with ETP LS7 heads. Custom hydrolic roller cam. It obviously has a F1R procharger making a little over 20psi. The 6L80E is built by Circle D. They have been working with us to make it live with the power. Everytime they come up with something new it lives a tad longer. If this thing only made 750-800 it would live all day long. The only time it breaks is when we give it hell at the track. and even then it only gets the 4th gear clutches. that might be because it is trying to accelerate 4000 lbs with a 1000 rwhp lol

Now that's funny...I don't care who....

Folks don't appreciate the effect weight has on tranny load. 1000rwhp pushing a 4000# ride is pretty damn impressive.
