My current 347 built with my noszle system set on 150-200 with a sts kit behind it??
sts kit for street fun and that good old turbo feel, and the N2O to kick it in the *** at the track!!!
with the th-400 this could be fun!!!!

sounds similar to my 2800 pound malibu
twin rear mount (in the neighborhood of t66's), 3000 stall and a bullet proofed 700r4 street car

I had nos (small teo stage) and twin turbos and I can say It is a kick in the pants when the NOS it hit! Like the turbos grow in size and hit a higher boost level!

I asked a similar question before and was told, that much spray would overspin the turbo and most likely burn it up. It would also produce more boost than the wastegate would normally allow so you would have to tune the wastegate around the massive amounts of exhaust the nitrous alone is producing. You could go with a big money turbo, but then the budget STS kit is out and who wants to run 5-6 psi on turbo capable of a lot more. That being said though, I say go for it!

well you aren't going to get away with much boost at a 12:1 copmpression ratio sounds like a sweet plan though...it will be nice to see some of the progress once you get started.

I think that with that much compression and boost and nitrous it would make alot of power for about 3.68977633534 seconds.

I say take your motor down to 8.5:1 and jam it with 20# of boost with a liquid cooler and and you will be much happier. You will make low 9 second power and be mild on the street.

i made 9 sec power with turbo's already, i want a change. and with low boost comp dont matter.
i will need to run less boost and make the same power, say i run 5 psi i will make as much power as a 8.5 motor would at 8-10 psi. but if i put 8-10 psi, then i would probably have issues with to much Compresion. my issue will be over spinning the turbo or over heating it ect. im not worried about my Compresions with low boost

i think its a big waste of time and money.. if you want to go faster stay with one power adder and just spray more... if you want a turbo again (of course you do) then save up for next season and get some of the good stuff.

your probably right Dave. damn you, your always right!! lol
i Do miss my turbos, that is a fact. but i think this setup will do, its very fast, and fun, and change is good. i will stay like this this year, and do some mods this winter to beter my times for next year with this setup. by the end of next year im sure i will want to change again, so i will hit it with all she has till it blows up, then chances are good it will go to speed inc for a turbo setup. i have had all and i mean all good experiance with speed inc! i'll do my own motor here, and use East side for help with that, but speed inc is where my turbo setup will come from.
