What's the power potential of a CAS kit?

Just what it says. How much boost can you run?

I made 600 rwhp with my old set up and 12 psi.
it was 9-1 cr mild cam stock block with a 6 speed.
after that im not sure

You looking at buying one used or from CAS? Cause I would NOT buy from them. They had a tendency to not call customers or give them parts. But did take their money.

I'd say 1000hp is certainly obtainable with upgraded turbos and BS3 or Gen7. With the standard kit on stock pcm...well into the 600s should be obtainable.

Noyzee Oct 25, 2004 07:55 AM

i saying 600 and with the right setup and tuner 700 after that the turbos and piping may need help

Noyzee, Do you have any pics of the kit installed on your car?

Noyzee Nov 4, 2004 02:26 PM

no, i have none that i can post. it was in the march issue of gm high tech performance tho, cant see much of the kit tho, most is under the car

Really not much to see of the kit on the car -- best looked at on an engine stand.

Think I might just get a T76 kit and 427 stroker from LS1speed. Any opinions on that?

I don't think you'll need the stroker motor. A 348 can max that turbo out with that kit pretty easy. The kit is damn good, I would just stick with stock cubes, that'll save you a lot of $.
