Probably the case. Mike and Steve's car definately get's through the first 1/8th a little quicker than me though. The 400 probably helps them there.
My downpipes are infront of the beams when stages, their's is as well, but pointing out the side. Who knows
But the top end boogie is right, going from low 5.3's @ 135 to 8.3 @ 167 is where it's at
I just wish i could have held the tires on some of the 170 passes

here is another fact too... IF you spin the tires out of the hole, you will MPH bigger... the reason being is because the tire grows and gets up on the tire right away... im not trying to bust your bubble and I agree that your car moves, but its always "coulda, woulda, shoulda"..
i applaud you for not talking smack and not putting up a number.. You were quiet and got the job done..

If I can find my computer, I could at least show our 60 ft. times/ET. It has made many runs at 8000 DA in the 7.80s, with 1.11/1.12 60 ft. times. I would guess that with a 1.18 60 ft. it would run ~8.20. All of which make an interesting comparison with turbo car times.

60ft
To run a teen 60ty ft on a Non W tire is rough. I run a 3150lbs Mustang(supercharged F3) on a 29.5 and best is 1.19-3.29 5.03. It can be done but all turbo cars i've seen usually don't 60ty well @ all and if they do it's on a 28 and not a 29 the 29's are just not a tire known for there 60ty ft time. Bobby Sue do you still feel the luv?

The downpipe exiting in front of the tire broke the 60' beam before it should have been broken by the tire (or something further back).. nothing against anyone, but a turbo car won't 60' like that, especially at that weight. Some rules prohibit downpipes exiting in front of the front tires for that exact reason.

I know Sam Vincent went a 1.18 with ladder bars and true 10's and that has taken him a long time to achieve it. The car runs in the 7.7's with nitrous. I just don't see an F-body with stock suspension, and less power 60'ing the same.
I seem to remember alot of the turbo Mustang having problems tripping the lights when they first started doing turbos. They will also push the car off the wall going down the track if they are pointed out to the side.
Jason Smith...so where is that slow blue car I used to see you with? What ever happend to Cohen? You guys were making some power and running the ET's last time I saw you out.

Sam has a NOS car same as Gary Rohe which also has been 1.17-1.19 the NOS cars will out 60ty & 300ft and turbo/blower combo's 9 outa 10 times hands down mostly due to weights. Sam/Gary just have to weigh 2700lbs so @ 3500 I don't even think there cars could do that but thats another bird. If this thread was to be true and the car that is in question would have needed to 330ft of about a 3.28-3.32 to achieve this if that had been done it would be quite legit. Also on the car side of things my car is the red/black coupe the blue one you was referring too was Mike Smith's not complaining just letting you know.
