It's alive! after over a year! Well I went up to Livernois on Friday to see the car as a do twice a week and saw about 6 people around! They where starting it up! Rick said it was running earlier! where are a few bugs in the DFI GEN7 but Dan Millian said they would be working on that again on Monday! Pump may be bad too. I stayed around it so I could hear it run as they where still filling the coolant. We still have alot to do even when it is tuned in as there will be two programs and then two stages of NOS after all that. There is C16 in it now but we are talking about 2 setting one C16 and one 94 pump gas! Well the Weldon 2015 is actting up but it did start a few times and sounded realy mean, It didn't have the 12"x3" bulllet w/the turn down before the axle. Just 3" to the Y-pipe! And you could realy hear those turbos they where louder than the pump! Well I am still all smiles ear to ear.two days later. Phase 3 of the project will start when the dyno numbers are in. And are a huge (44"x13"x3.5"), new tubing, BOV,and a carbon fiber hood! And then off to get the audio and body painted! So Not back and 100% tell summer. I would like to thank Livernois and Wires & Pliers! :) |
Twins and a 2 stage....NICE! |
so fill us in on your build up, incons, dual stange of nitrous and what else.................... |
Low Compression on one side for the twin Turbos and High Compression on the other for the twin Nitrous, Sounds mean! Glad to hear it coming together, I bet after hearing it running after all this time the days will trickle by until summer making it feel like another two years! More details too .... |
Build up is LS6 motor JE forged pistons Crower billet forged rods Don't know the cam specs but are looking in to it 9:1:1 Incon twin turbo kit with different turbos and fabed up all 3" exhaust! Turbos are bigger than the incons but still water/oil/bb NOS is two stage wet (jetting will be 100hp each?) DFI Gen7 w/wideband ect.................................. I bought everything I could think of! But we are planing on it being 600rwhp on turbos and 800-850rwhp on NOS. As we know the Incon intercoolers will hurt power after 632rwhp. Keep in mind this is a STREET CAR and will never see a slick! so there is too much power as it is on turbos. Pics are here http://community.webshots.com/user/williamraedle |
What tranny are you runnin? |
Have fun with HELLACIOUS boost creep if you try and put 200 horses worth of nitrous through T25 turbos. |
Looks good Bill! I can't wait to see that thing hit the dyno. -Rick |
Very nice |
sounds good im sure it will be a blast to drive |
good god that thing is gonna be BAD! we are definitely gonna need some vids of that beast! |
What turbos did you change to on the Incon? Did you go up to the gt2537's? Or something different all together? I'm real interested on the specs...if you could post here or PM me. |
About time Bill, take me for a ride when u get that thing going...might have to wait till spring so those tires dont spin off the car. |
That's your car? I've seen it hundreds of times up at Livernois. It looks like a bad mama jama. |
It is a M6 car. the trans is the only thing that is not changed or rebuilt! As for the turbos they are the stage II incon the bigger of the two made! At one time I had 5-6 Incon turbos everything from the mustage Incon's to the LS1 Incon's! All are sold now but the ones on the car. And the turbos I have on the car are oil/water/BB. As I said I still think (do to the 2.5 tubes) that 650rwhp is all they will give me! |
