rear wouldn't hold 3200 2step

I launched easy to...but it seems the posi broke...locked up the rear and then the driveshaft snapped. I am gonna try a torsen as I was getting a little wheel hop with the eaton spinning the left tire and then stopping

smokinHawk Jan 11, 2005 05:28 AM

:headbang:

cablebandit Jan 11, 2005 07:50 AM

smokinHawk Jan 11, 2005 07:59 AM

has anyone done 9's on a 10bolt yet?

maybe youll be first at somthing :)

LOnSLO Jan 11, 2005 09:11 AM

Ouch Jerry! Time to put that other 10 bolt to use before it rusts to pieces :)

TwnTrboCE Jan 11, 2005 09:17 AM

Well that sucks. But at least you have some spare parts lying around to get her back on the road. One day you'll get tired of changing out those 10 bolts though. Turbos love to tear up shit. :)

cablebandit Jan 11, 2005 04:00 PM

Hey Ryan I got your old one in today. I am happy that iit has a torsen posi. I think they are a LITTLE more durable.

Mike...yeah I am sure I will get tired of changing it. So far that's the first one out of two f0bodys to break. I don't think it liked the 3200 2step launch even though it was an easy one. I am seeing about 7psi like that....I think it will rock if it don't break :)

gomer Jan 11, 2005 04:39 PM

Breaking at the track always sucks. Been there, done that, got the rollback bill

Going to stick with 3.23's?

Caveman Jan 11, 2005 10:24 PM

First to go 9s on a 10 bolt, that could be a good goal for 2005! Good luck.
