How's this for ground clearance??? http://65.254.231.111/picture_hostin...clearance1.JPG We're finishing up a customer's kit with 2.5" up-pipes and thought you guys would like to see how much ground clearance we have. Note this car has been lowered 2". So no, running pipes under the K-member isn't as bad as what most people think |
Looks good. Keep up the good work! Is anyone planning on buying this kit so we can have some numbers posted? BTW i will be contacting you about a huge FMIC for a twin turbo setup. Greg |
Looks like it matches the level of the trans x member and the rear diff. Nice job. Can you post up pics of the same car, all kit installed, or has it been added to your webite? Thanks Charlie |
Well, if that is lowered 2" then I like it. |
when you say up pipe do you mean down pipe? or the pipes that come from the headers and go to the turbo exhaust inlet? |

Ive been building kits with pipes under the K member for years, it works great, and never had problems with groudn clearearance, however there is always people that will bitch. IMO though if I had built a set of headers, whats the point of going under? ;) |
that clears it up. so how big is the downpipe then? |
looks good, my car is lowered, and is the main reason for not going with a STS for now. kit is looking very nice, great job man. i cant wait to see some members installing these so we can see some numbers. keep up the good work |
in this picture the pipe looks alot lower http://65.254.231.111/picture_hostin...o_turbo_07.jpg also whats the deal witht he dual wastegates? 2 tial 44mm? |
I think it was different diameter pipe there. I never understood why 2 WG either. |
Looks great. Now don't go under like the rest and I'll buy a kit from you this summer, hehe. |
