Opinions on STS remote system...ANY HELP = GOOD!
Opinions on STS remote system...ANY HELP = GOOD! Im looking into buying the STS system for my 2002 SS....they seem sick and simple for the $$...but can anyone be upfront about it??? What does the majority think?? If you had to would you buy one again and what are some pros and cons...will be added onto a 1.5 inch lowered ls1, and possible headers coming soon!

i have been looking to go turbo myself, and personally never considered teh sts kit. it apparently works well, there have been many people out there running great numbers with it. and other putting down good power, but i guess it just seems so unconventional to me. i have never heard of someone going from a conventional turbo to an STS kit, but the opposite is not unheard of...

It does seem wierd, but its hauls man...there is this dude around here with on on his 02 SS...it drove by me one night i thought it was an f-16 and it pulled like one too....but...i just want to know more about like detonation probs etc...

The system works exceptionally well, just remember ANY kit is only as good as its tune, that is what will make you or break you. I am a dealer for STS and have had great sucess with the systems and just ordered one for my personal car. Like I said make sure the tune in ON and the fuel system can handle the boost you are running and have fun buyin' tires!!

Even the correct spelling...STS is a great street kit. All of the arguments about performance and efficiency, etc., may apply to full race efforts, but...
Like any FI kit, detonation is a function of octance, compression and tuning. There is absolutely nothing about the STS kits that changes that equation.
