Anyone Boosted with 2.73's? What kind of converter are you running and how is the streetability? |
I'm running 3.08's with a 2.48 first gear in a T400. Love it. Turbos don't need low gears. 3000ish Vig converter #4 pump. |
Weak James, weak. Run some 5.88s in that bitch :D |

justme ran or maybe still runs 2.73's for a long time. and it scoots. I think it was 102 or 104mph in the 1/8th, deep into the 120's in the 1/4 10 second time slips on those runs too I do believe. |

I plan on running a 273 when I get my turbo on so I can chase down some bikes. :D |
ANyone else? |
My setup is a LT1 383 with 8.3/1 compression, Comp 224/236 cam, single PT-76 GTS turbo, water/air intercooler, TH-350, Vigilange 2800, 2.73 rear gear. I really like the setup. I had 3.42's with the previous supercharger, which were a real pain cruising down the interstate with no OD. Now, with the 2.73's, it's just like having OD. Plus with all the extra torque from the turbo, it can pull the gear just fine. The 2800 Vigilante drives good at part throttle, but stalls past 5000 rpm under boost. At 19 psi, it'll smoke up the Nitto's from 60 mph (2nd gear). Mike |
I think I might leave them in there just to see how it feels. Might change the converter though. |
