Some dyno numbers from GroundZero's turbo kit

First of all, there is still lots of tuning to do. We ran out of fuel pressure so we had to stop until we get it fixed. This was on 9psi with very conservative timing w/ full exhaust. Engine is 100% stock besides upgraded injectors. Full boost came in at right around 3K running strait off the spring so power can definitely be improved in mid range. Just by looking at the charts, we'll be able to get at least 550rwhp just with some tuning and rpm's. We actually got 549rwtq@ 4000rpms on another run, still with 9psi. We should be able to see 550hp/550tq at 9psi after we get the fuel pressure back up

BTW, the kit that is on the car is the base kit which is a T70. Also we had boost dropping off after 4500rpms which is why you see torque dropping like that.

Be back soon with some more numbers

I wish we could put a 76, but we're trying to get numbers to show people who will be buying the base kits.

Oh, we haven't even started to tune it yet. As soon as fuel pressure dropped, tuning came to a stand still. Hopefully the problem will be fixed tomorrow

What fuel pump and injectors were you guys using when FP dropped????
M6 or A4????

paspar2 Sep 28, 2005 07:22 PM

That's damn impressive... I'd take a chance with the log style with those numbers over an sts...

We had an inline booster pump which helped but not enough with the hp we're making:)

Tranny is an A4

They're priced about the same so I don't see why not. Plus you'll get half the lag time

Holy crap 549rwhp through an A4 on a Mustang Dyno?????? That's insane on a stock motor...

Boo"SS"t Sep 28, 2005 08:01 PM

what is the set-up on the passenger side? is it the cast factory manifold or is it a header style? any pics?

StoleIt Sep 28, 2005 08:06 PM

I believe they said it was a factory manifold.
