Blower with nitrous Hey guys I have a Whipple blower on my 2000 Silverado with the 4.8 and I was wondering what you guys thought of spraying a 35-50 shot right before the blower?? BTW, this is a NX WET kit. Just wondering what the effects are of injecting nitrous and fuel into the blower?? Whipple said they don't think that it would hurt the blower, but trying to get some suggestions on what you guys think...

Re: Blower with nitrous I'd be hesitant to spray fuel into the blower. I think you'd be bettere off with a small dry shot after the blower. No reason to add fuel to such a small shot and make your tuning more complex than it already is.

Re: Blower with nitrous I would be a little worried about where this pressurized air/fuel mixture might end up. Other than that, it wasn't too long ago, carbs always fed the blower. Your throttle body is upstream from the blower right? Wouldn't want fuel to puddle at the butterfly!

Re: Blower with nitrous I'd say leave out the fuel part and inject a dry shot wherever you want. Before the supercharger is easiest because you dont have to worry about a seal. After the charger is best because the blower doesnt heat up the N2O. What kind of RWHP & RWTQ does that thing put down right now with the charger and at what boost level?
