Head Gasket Suggestions

Guys,

I have a heads/cam/TT setup and was wondering what head gaskets I should use on the car when I take the heads off for freshening.

I have a 1998, so I am pretty sure that I have the notch in the heads that will keep me from being able to use the Cometic gaskets. Does cometic make gaskets for the early 1998 heads?

For the last 6,000 or so miles I have been using the stock GM gaskets and they have worked fine...depending on how they look when I pull them off, I may go for another set of these.

Open to suggestions though!

IT seems like cometic would carry the 98 gaskets, but doesnt GM make MLS gaskets now.

I am going to check with SDPC to see if they have the MLS gaskets...if so then I will use those.

It looks like the Cometic gaskets might be available for the heads with the notch, I am going to call them and verify.

At this point I am thinking of just staying with the stock gaskets. They have held up to 10psi so far without flinching.
