Re: How's this for a blower cam?

228 seems like a bit much duration on the exhaust side, given 220 on the intake, for a blown LS1 application. What's the lift? It might be better to run a combination of a just a little extra exhaust lift, and a little extra exhaust duration, then to have that much difference in the duration. The 114LSA should be good for the blower, though.

Have you checked out Thunder Racing's "blower" cam?

Specs: 220/228 (XE lobes) 114 lsa.

Considering it for a blown Z06 with headers and intake. How would something like this idle and perform? Thanks

Thanks guys, the lift numbers are 0.564I/0.571E. Any ideas how the idle would sound compared to stock? The only restriction in the exhaust is random hi-flow cats. I want some lope, but I don't want to get a 112 lsa because of the application.
