Ain't No Quitting at Hardcore!

Hardcore's CEO Goes 7.93

The weather sucked and passes were not plentiful, but the CEO got the LS1 Procharger "Blue Voodoo" Trans Am to a 8.16 pass before hauling it home to get ready for Orlando three days later.

Orlando, Florida:
A lot different weather in beautiful Orlando and time to run with the big boys. The field was large and racing was good. The Blue Voodoo took her place in the Heavy Street Class, which was mostly dominated by Big Block Turbos. The LS1 Procharger Blue Voodoo Trans Am was not intimidated at all. She came to the line and the CEO got the best out of her, getting her to flex her muscles and she responded with a 7.93. That my friends is a history making run. No LS1 on 10.5 tires has ever gone that fast. That record without a doubt lets you know Hardcore Racing Inc. is out there and will be out there living on the edge and pushing the envelope every chance they get.

That post is almost hard to read. Its a car, man. And who's the CEO? Duke?

Post pics or video of that car...I've only seen it at a show.

So you guys should have no problem dominating at the Nov 12th race in San Antonio then right? Did not see your name on the entry list yet?

LSONE Oct 26, 2005 05:34 PM

Congrats on the times, simply amazing on a 10.5

Readable version (just trying to help)

Duke goes 7.93

Hardcore did not have the weather favoring them at the track. The weather was bad and they only had time to get a few passes in before packing up to go to Orlando, FL, three days later. However, they did manage a 8.16.

In beautiful Orlando, the weather varied, but they were there to run the big boys. The field was large, and the racing was good. Duke and the car were in the Heavy Street Class. That class is mostly dominated by bigblock cars with turbo setups. Duke ran a 7.93 on a 10.5 tire, breaking the previous record. Hardcore Racing is still in the game, pushing the envelope at every chance they get.

They've pulled some strings to get the World block if that's true...it is debuting at SEMA. Maybe they are testing it or something.

jason mcneil told me it was a 5 bolt world block.

I heard it was a 5 bolt block as well, and assumed it was the WP block.

Either way, I'm sure Hardcore is going to remain tight lipped about what they're running. :secret2:

libertine1015 Oct 27, 2005 07:17 AM

A couple of their used C5-R blocks are for sale on ebay so they either have a bunch of them or they switched over to something else

With enough boost even a pig can fly! :jest:

Bad ass if there are using that block..... but they still toasted the motor?????
Do you guys have a big sponsorship with Procharger?????????

Bad30th Oct 27, 2005 09:12 AM

Still no vid or timeslip, why am I having deja vu ? :jest:

Congrats on hauling major ass guys, but this repeat performance of beating your chest without any proof to back it up is lackluster. You know the guys on here are gonna jab ya for it, yet again...

Cheers,
Rob (Bad30th)
