procharger/LS1/1970 Camaro - has anyone done this?
Hello-
has anyone installed a procharger on an LS1 motor in a 1970-1981 Camaro or Firebird?
My main concern at this point is will this set-up fit under the stock hood.
Thanks.

We installed a 502/502 into a '69 Camaro, combined with a Viper spec 6 speed. It made 400 rwhp on my Mustang Chassis Dyno.
The Mazda RX7 that we installed an '04 GTO ATI ProCharger D-1SC on it's LS1 engine is currently at 573 rwhp on my Mustang Chassis Dyno, and gets great gas mileage to boot!
Both of these cars are in the project car section of my website. The LSengine/ATI ProCharger combo is a great way to go! Bob

I'd like to see someone buy my custom YSi setup and make that work in an older car, Freiburger had a built 2nd gen that made same power as me but with a high dollar engine to my simple 348ci.

I wish I had the cash,,,,,I'd do it.
One of the things that made me want a new ls1 camaro, was after I dynoed my 427-30over 11to1 l-88 head BB at 350rwhp 380rwhp I watched a lid and catback 02ls1 SS do 330 340. I was like what?
The BBRSZ 12 to 14 mpg - 100oct.
The TTSSZ 24 to 25 mpg hwy 93 oct 572rwhp
The 71 could fit two 101mm under the hood and still have room to spair.
