Project Dragula, Supercharger or Turbo
I've been planning turbos for the most part.
Well I have an opportunity to also do a big supercharger. Tell me what you'd like to hear about and see get built up.
Here are the choices:

If I were you I would do a stage 3 turbo nitrous setup with a killer motec exhaust system and aztec warrior graphics all over your car. Cant forget the altezzas and huge wing, and dont forget to double clutch

Re: Project Dragula, Supercharger or Turbo
Do the turbo's your car will be much quieter(sp)and your neighbors will like you better. I hate having crosshairs on me when I start my car in the morning.

Re: Project Dragula, Supercharger or Turbo
Don't worry, it's perfectly possible to build a turbo V8 that your neighbors hate just as much as a supercharged one...

I voted for the SC...
Why, because John should do a turbo and he always does the opposite of what everyone says

Re: Project Dragula, Supercharger or Turbo
Humm
tough choice...
D3MM, cogged v belt looks like a tractor tire set of 2, 2.125, 2.25 stepped headers (we know all players have to have these)
In all honesty I would do a Single turbo, Motec, air-air intercooler and call it a day. Only other choice would be a blower but belt issues would get old.

If you have the belt issues nailed down and do a nice set of 3.73's or 3.90's the SC would be a killer setup. The Vortech compressor maps are perfect for the LS1. Ice for aftercooler drag strip runs.
U know the word on turbos.. If the above is at a substantially lower price it would gain the edge for me.

Re: Project Dragula, Supercharger or Turbo
well i have to vote for the turbo for obvious reason, but an ati unit with a nice cog setup will be plenty to soil your undies.

107 Days left........
You may want to pick something that can get you there within your self proclaimed time limit.
However....my 2 cents
REALLY high HP Superchargers throw belts! Unless they are engineered properly like Chris Sikoras is.
REALLY high HP Superchargers belts slip! Unless you run a cog setup.
700RWHP or higher I would make sure everything is engineered right from the start. Otherwise you're just throwing money down the drain.

Thanks for all the replies, keep 'em coming I want to hit a 100.
I'll be taking pics of the buildup. Car will emphasize parts that anyone else can buy, and nothing will be exotic or impossible to replicate.

There is nothing like hearing the sweet sound of the turbo(s) spool(ing) up, and then being pushed back into the your seat!
