Saw it today at the autorama. Think i saw Roofer Dave amongst the W2W guys but he was busy chatting so i didnt get to introduce myself. Also saw the engine they used in the record setting 6 sec run. Awesome car, paint in amazing along with everything else. Nice work!

Well Dave, the autorama was today and I guess you took delivery of your car and got to see it for the first time.... So just wanted to say congratulations on owning the sickest F-body on the planet....

Now I'm going to go to my garage and set my car on fire... Hopefully if I use enough gas the house will catch as well..... After I fail to call the fire department so the house burns to the ground maybe State Farm will cut me enough of a check that I can show up at W2W monday morning with a fat check and tell them "I'll take mine in blue please"..... I hope they don't mind if I sleep on their couch cause I won't have any place to go......

Again congrats

I was there and won my Class.1990 and newer Super Gas.

The pictures Wheel put up don't do the paint justice. It has to be seen in person to appreciate it.

Depending on what angle you look at the car the paint looks green, orange, pink and of course yellow.

The paint rep told me only three cars in the world have this color and mine looked the best.

Now I have to put some melted rubber in the wheel wells.

It was nice meeting you Dave...I was the one with my buddy and my pops talking to you a few minutes around 5pm on Sunday (today).

Car looks amazing, and like Dave said...it cannot be appreciated unless you see it in person.

Kevin, what tool do you all use to install those 4 gauge ring terminals on the power cable? Are they soldered on?

As seen in your picture, here:

I solder them with a small torch and some solder. You can even crimp them before soldering to ensure a good tight connection.

The yellow has a pearlish basecoat. So from different angles you see different colors in the yellow almost like that chameleon paint. I saw green, orange and pink. It looked AWESOME!! Nice car Dave and congrats on the award. It was great to watch the car be built on here and then actually see it in person. I was telling the guys I was with at the Autorama all about it. It's funny because there was so much detail in that car that would be missed by someone just glancing at the car. But it's all there and looks great!!

Can't wait to see it out this year. Let us know when you run some shakedown runs locally. I definitely would like to be there to see it.

Your going to need to drive up Jared, the camera does not catch the color change. This car is really best to see in person if you get a chance. The paint guys really went all out and Sherwin mixed a special blend for Dave's Camaro that is a little "hotter" than the other two cars that have this color(Stinger yellow).
