Thanks everyone.

Again, no downforce or stability mods. Body is completely stock.

Solobaric- I run a staged injection BS3 with dual fuel systems and 16 42lb/hr injectors. 93 octane in the main tank, C16 in the secondary cell. Having all the same size injectors makes it a 50/50 mix.

RyanJ- The Cuda was not there, though I was looking forward to seeing it. I heard that they damaged the motor in testing a few days prior.

quikturbo- Thanks Chris. Hows that bad dog SC coming along?

PSJ- Math works out to 6,800 rpms. Probably would be better off with lower gearing in an attempt for higher speed as it makes peak power at 6,000.

Great run, car looked stable. I wish I would've gone out there to watch, I would love to try to go 200+ mph sometime in the future.

Here's the SVS TT Viper in car video of their 218.95 mph run

Very cool runs!!!

I would love to do that with my car someday... unfortunately it's gonna be built for a little shorter run. We could put a six speed back in Kyle's car and give it a try.

I agree, mine felt stuck to the road at 160+ too.

I'll watch the vid at home but that sounds nice...maybe you need to go run the Z-2-Z challenge in conjunction with the Silver State Classic. Quickest time, from zero to 200 to zero will hold the annual trophy and braging rights. Last year no one hit it. You should be able to find an article in hot rod or phr about it? BTW, I plan on doing this @ some point myself (maybe not up that hot though).

Watched the vids...that's badass...but you definately need to get your self a chute!!!!

Do you need a larger chute or do drag chutes work?

BTW, the ECTA can be found here for anyone that didn't know. http://www.ecta-lsr.com/

Tires are goodyear gs-d3's

Z2Z challenge sounds like fun, but my car doesn't really stop very well.

(Baer track kit up front is working for a living)

Yeah, I'm sure those breaks were getting a work out in the short shutdown area that Maxton has for those kinda speeds. Sounds like you need to step up to some big wilwoods...

Dude that's amazing. That's what I like to see!! A car that can not only performs well in the 1320 but also has some awesome top speed as well. All Around Performance and still gets decent fuel mileage.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate a good 1/4 mile car, but for me a car that does it all well is where it's at.

Def. agree with you there. What's the point in having a "street car" if you can't have some fun with it in all fascits of the platform?

Jim, that is absolutely sick man!! I almost spit my coffee out right when I read you basically hit 200mph. Unreal.

/thinks more seriously about having you build a turbo setup for my car

The SC has been a SLOW project this winter, but I will start putting it back together next week. Custom stroker, 80mm turbo, head work and BIG custom cams. Should put down some decent power.
I think I'm more excited to see your car run, and see Andy's when it gets done!
Priorities change when you have a 4month old little girl so I'll be happy to watch you 2 at RSD

If it were closer, I would have gone out too but I guess Ive got a speed governor at 170 or something cause I hit 5700 rpm in 5th with 3 42's and it was banging off the limiter...

Does it make a huge difference if your on slicks/DR's/street tires when going that fast in regards to reliability of tire?
Check the rules...drag slicks are NOT Recomended! Check the link I posted to ECTA for tire info...

I'd say Jim, what's the current record in C/Blown Grand Touring (http://www.ecta-lsr.com/recordscars2.htm) which looks like 172.364. Make the nessecary safety improvements, go set yourself a record, and get yourself a green hat. (BTW, you have to set a record in order to get a 200 club hat and sticker).
