Who's running the GMR single kit?

Just curious if many people on the board are running the single kit. I know of a few running the twin set up but curious as to whos running the single set up, what turbo they're running, what numbers they put down, and just how its working in general. Thanks!

We have quite a few Tech members still putting kits on, Im sure numbers will be up soon.

tamanjd is running their first single kit, that'd be the guy to talk to. He seems very happy with it.

Yea, right now im pretty much tossing up upgrading the STS kit from TRT or getting the GMR single with turbo upgrade and what not so i just want to see how peoples GMR kits are doing. Leo, do any members coming up have turbo upgrades like t-70 or 76? Curious as to how those run and what type of numbers the kits putting down with bigger turbos.

Superman, you need to incorporate the Man O Steel back into your sig....otherwise...niiiice. Sorry, back on topic now

haha i was trying but he wasnt fitting well, when i get some extra time this week im going to rework it a little. Anyway.... anyone on here run the single kit with a 70 or 76?

ZAngel the moderator runs a kit nearly identical to the GMR single w/a T76. I've never seen her post up #s though. Shoot her a PM.

Is this the old Raymer kit with the log's? QMP or something?

bboyferal May 9, 2006 03:36 PM

It is a log header style. Many people run TTi street kits to the tune of 500-600 rwhp and are happy. I'd buy it over an STS though, no offense to anyone, just what I'd buy.

Yeah, I am very intrested too in this subject as well. I plan on going bossted this summer and it's between trt turbo's stage 3 sts with a T70 or GMR's single turbo setup. Not to jack the thread but is 650rwhp possible with either of these??

Superman09 May 9, 2006 07:58 PM

im curious as to what about the GMR kit will max out with power wise with a t-70 or 76 turbo but it doesnt seem really anyone runs it with a bigger turbo?

There is a post of a customer installing a T76 version of our kit you may want to follow along on.

Superman09 May 10, 2006 05:39 AM

Awesome, exactly what i have been waiting for!

blue2002ss06 May 10, 2006 08:01 AM

So aftermarket headers wont wont with this. Its looks like a great kit well its between trt's and gmr's for me :)

Leo@GMRSPEED May 10, 2006 08:24 AM

A Hooker shorty header should mount up ok, just no LT or Mid lenght headers.

If I ordered my kit from yall how long would it take for me to get it???

Superman09 May 10, 2006 11:31 AM

GMR, do you offer discounts with the more you buy like the stage kits at TRT (i know there not a sponsor, just using for reference) Im liking the Stage 4 from them and not sure if you do something similar or knock prices down with the more you buy.
