I don't consider mine light by an means. But with the turbo set-up I'm not as worried about weight. Just turn up the boost another pound

Now don't laugh. I'm still using my N/A and/or nitrous converter. 4200 stall, TransKing. 3 years old. Was last stalled 2 1/2 years ago, and not touched since. I'm just crossing my fingers until I can afford the Neal Chance converter I want/need. This project has about broke the bank.

Hmmm. . . I'm not having good luck with converters. My old one was a Vig 2800 that flashed to 5000+. When I shifted, it only dropped 400 rpm. I sent it in and had it tightened up and the "turbo stator" installed. Now, it foot-brake stalls 1300 rpm higher and only drops 200 rpm on the shift. Grrr.

I tell ya. The next converter I get will be from Neal Chance. I talked to Marty at length. Very good to work with. The converter will be like 1400, but well worth it. Not many will guarentee it with a 1000+hp.
