I would go to Forcedinductions.com talk to Jose he will get you what you need at a good price. Snow performance makes a good kit for our cars.

Country Boy 09-09-2006 12:15 PM

I would get an Alky Control kit.

ALKY CONTROL....an awsome kit and comes with unparalled customer service, Julio is a great guy and very, very helpful. You would not regret paying him your hard earned money. :thumb:

Another for Julio. Great product. Three of us here in Jville run it with no problems

kbracing96 09-11-2006 12:10 AM

I've been very happy with my Devils Own kit.

Blown SS 09-11-2006 07:18 AM

AlkyControl is :pimp:

The Alky Control Kit is ref'd to boost & then is progressive as the boost increases & seems to have more adjustments, but the Snow Meth Kit is also ref'd to boost & has a MAF version that people like. Both come in signle & dual nozzle.

I have the Alky Control Kit & like it so far. The things that decided for me were the AC kit is designed for 100% alchol (pump & lines) and you use the windshield washer tank (I have no room left for more shit under the hood). And Julio rocks!

Snow Perf. also has a variable controller that can come on at either boost, MAF or EGT temp. I like the EGT control because if you go lean, your EGTs get high, which trigger the spray, and in turn, lower the egt by fattening up your A/F mix..
Give us a call if you're interested in some Snow products

Yep, we use snow kits as well. Awesome pieces and work great controlling nitrous as well...hehe

at what level of boost do these kits support without an FMIC??? For instance, I am putting some ideas together for my car, and really don't want to go with the FMIC. What amount of boost can I safely run, and which kit without needing an FMIC? Thanks.

its goin to be a while cause im low on the cash, but will a good meth kit make up for weak fuel system?

trouse40 09-15-2006 12:08 PM

will the meth kit make up for a weak fuel system?

TchargedLS1TA 09-15-2006 12:55 PM

Definately not.. A good fuel system is always a must. You will end up smokin your motor the day you forget to fill your meth tank back up and run lean. I would spend the money on a fuel system first..

my friend an I built one for about $80, worked pretty good but I know that it isnt as nice as any of those mentioned above, but my buddy put one on his Quad-4 fiero, turned the boost up to 21psi and put down over 400whp with no problems. If you want I will see if Bryson can find the site with the instructions.

Thanks guys.. EGT is easy, get an converter 0-5 from O2Simulator.com..

I wouldnt. tho. As response is slow with Ktype thermocouples. Then timing changes, air fuel changes, etc..

On higher powered cars that pin their MAF's.. speed density on the alky kit helps tremendously with keeping air fuel somewhat more stable.

The www.corvetteforum.com search function type methanol.. or www.turbobuick.com alcohol section. Plenty of reading.

If your injectors are maxed out, an injection kit can reduce them to a safer level and negate having to change them. This applies to methanol injection, not "mix" or water injection.

If your fuel pump is the issue.. time to update and upgrade that.

Dont know why someone would experiment with an engine worth so much and not use proven products. Trust me on this.. this is not an area to experiment with.

Guess if you went to the Salvation Army and bought a car for 200 bucks.. worst case ... it just became disposable.

Thanks for the support..
