Anybody running a roots style on their LS1?

Anybody running a roots style on their LS1? If so how do you like it? I would think youd be able to get more boost out of a roots style than a snail style or am i mistaken? Post pics of your setup if you have it. Thanks.

It has been tried before. However, the cowl had to be cut and in the end the guy that did it said, "it was not worth the troubles." I suspect that the people that want to do this conversion just want their Camaro to sound like the 03/04 Cobras. To those people I say get the 03/04 Cobra then (not talking about you).

I have a non intercooled Magnuson on my 1998 Camaro Z28. I love it! I am re-leasing a kit that will allow the current intercooled version to be installed on any 1998-2002 F-body.
Actually, the centrifugal blowers are capable of much higher boost, but if you want a smooth reliable, 5-7psi that comes on instantly, the Magnuson is hard to beat.

I think the KB or the new 122 maggie could be made to fit, but I honestly haven't tried it...........yet!
Everyone told me the standard Maggie would never fit, and I was able to find a way around that!, so I don't think fitting a bigger blower would be too big of a deal.
I will probably look at those other blowers in the future, but I have my hands full right now with this kit.
