Thumbs up New best ET, last time out for the year.

Went out to Bowling Green for their last T&T day of the year, havent had real good luck hooking there this year but whatever they did today worked. Could have been the new slicks too Also swaped the blower pulley to the 7.25/3.4 which puts the D1SC at max impeller speed @ 7000rpm. Saw about 17.5psi with the stock inlet hat still.

But anyhow, 9.24 @ 145 with a 1.303 60' off the footbrake. Ran another 9.24 @ 144 letting off it quite a bit after it a little out of shape when it came down off the trans brake, didnt get a slip so i dont know the 60' but it was probably pretty good consodering how much I bcked off thet throttle and it still ran a 9.24.

First and last passes the car was heading off in the wrong direction, unfortunately its getting to the point where I need someone to get me lined up straight if I want to use the trans brake. Last pass I put a little more bottom end in the car hung the wheels in the air for a good 100' and I had to let out of it, D-ported the headers and bent up the lower intercooler brackets and scraped up some other stuff - figured best call it a day.. I'm pretty sure the car would have got in the teens on a clean pass. Also I'm seriously running out of gear (3.70), car starts running out of steam at 6800 and I'm going through the traps at 7000.

Here is a vid from today, 2nd car in the vid is a local guys twin turbo C5, left a little too hard off the 2 step and stood it up pretty good. Brokes the trans cooler when it came down so that was that for the day for him, car has run 128mph in the 1/8 mile so far, just cant get a break on a 1/4 mile track.

And when I got back from the track this was at my front door, nice and shiny F1A Pretty tempting to slap it on and make a couple blasts but I'm done for the year I think..

Congratulations, that was fun to watch. Sorry to hear about the headers.

I hope you enjoy your new hardware.

Headers will be OK I think, just dinged a few tubes - I have done worst on other cars

Once I drop the rear gear a little hopefully it will calm down the launch a little, I'm just happy it picked up some with the pulley swap - figured with the cooler weather it would help with that and it did.

Great passes man, too bad that last launch did some damage, it sure was a long wheelie. Good way to end the year as far as best times go. Eights are right around the corner, especially with your new F1A.

Can you post up the specs on the F-1A? Every source I've found so far the specs have been diputed or contradictory.

From what I understand the F1A is 1600cfm, 74K max impeller, its the same physical size as a F1.

Very nice kp! I think you just became my inspiration to go supercharged instead of turbo . I just like the easier setup plus I get to keep my new headers and true duals .

Great runs KP. Both your car and the vette are impressive. Can't wait to see some passes next year on the F1A

Bob, I appreciate you and ATI getting the blower so quick but I'm done for the year, only a few months until next seasom

I'm going to hang onto the D1 for a while in case I want to run the NMCA street race class next year.
