Default Thunders racings cheater camshaft? anyone using it?

600/575 lift cam on a 117.

I found out the exact specs on the Cheater cam to be : 115.7 - 233.4 with 604/583 lift on a 116.7 LSA.

I dont know how many degrees are advanced in, but I do know the bolwer cam has only one degree advanced in.

Does anyone have the Thunder racing blower or cheater camshaft,

Does anyone know if the spects are the same for the blower cam? ,

i would like to know how there car idels, pulls , max rpm , power they making with these cams,
I am realy interested the the Blower cam.
Thank you for your help

That was someone elses cam specs, every cam will be a bit different but all will be close to Thunders advertised specs of 214/230 .601/.578 117 LSA.

Their blower cam seems to have the almost exact same specs 214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA but I think they have a different exhaust lobe and different valve events made specifically for FI applications.

I am searching for the right blower cam for my 01 SS M-6
I like the specs of the TR 214-230 blower cam,

what do you think, how will it idle, will it make good power, espicaly down low, what max RPM with this cam are we looking at?

Type 'cheatr' into the search field. There are many threads about it but look for one by Patrick G as it will have the information you want.

Bingo. The blower cam has a different exhaust lobe than the CheaTR. They look VERY similar but the exhaust is very different other than the lift and .050" duration numbers.

I would call Thunder and talk to Geoff directly, he is the cam guru their and knows his stuff. it's good to get a feel for peoples opinions here on LS1Tech, but I would talk to the pro's before making the leap. I know some people might think the the split is big, but remember, thats just numbers at .050".

To be honest, I'm probably going to use the TR blower cam myself when I make the FI plunge this winter. I have already bought and used 4 different TR cams anyway, might as well stick with a good thing .
