Default 10.206 @133 stock bottom end rear mount

Last night, it was cold, DA was suppose to be around 1000 ft. I had to put on my smaller et streets cause the slicks were gone. On 11.5x 26x 16 et streets on stock camaro 16 inch wheels it went 10.206 @133 with a 1.505 60 ft.

This is a stock bottom end 99 camaro. used z06 cam, stock intake, stock throttle body, only missing the rear seat. It has a tube k member, lca, panhard rod, a 9 inch with 3.00 gears. A single 342 walbro pump. Still has power steering, power windows, heater, stock stereo etc. It has my rear mount turbo kit with intercooler, and a 76 turbo and 60 lb mototrons with my tuning.

It was spooling so fast I had to actually wait, instead of rush to stage and build boost. It goes from 0 to 10 in about 2 seconds. My best pass was wait for the tree so I wouldnt leave before the green, go wot, as the boost gauge was passing 6 psi let off the trans brake and I shift at 6000rpm. Oh it runs a th400 with a 3000 stall but goes about 3800 with @10 psi.

This winters projects......a twin turbo c5, and my own twin turbo 402 ls1 cobra replica.

My car broke by popping an I/C boot that night. Had a small leak since I was only seeing 12psi and boost was building slow. Managed a 10.6 @ 129.1 on a 1.59 60' I'm bummed since I was hoping to go low 10's. Next time...

1320 and I have very similar cars (he built mine).

I dont know, its not light but not heavy either. It has a tube k member, welds on the front, missing the rear seat, the th400 and 9 inch (iron third member) turbo system, ps, pw, pb, stereo, oem carpet etc, stock seats, its a 99 hard top so no t top, and the console is out of it. It has ultra z glass hood (bolt on) and a ground effects and spoiler like the RS.

I d guess around 3400, which puts it at 3650 with me in it. It also had probably around 10 gallons of gas, cause 5 of it was 91 pump.

I dont have a video, my friend Will (benneliwang on here I bet) was suppose to go, but all I have is the fact that I built zombie s car also. His is alittle heavier and undoubtable will be faster in the same conditions if his entire car was as dialed as this 99. He has been in the mid 10's for while now, but with 3800-5500 ft da's not the once a year 1000 ft we had last night.

oh the 99 has been to a dyno in while, its last dyno was 553 with a 67 turbo. It picked up 4 mph with the 76 and no other changes and now 10 mph with other things fixed or dialed in better. Tires, traction, suspension, tune, exhuast leaks, etc.

Is that rear end gear ratio right? 3.00? Never the less great results.

Yup, his gears are right, I run 2.75's and he and I usually run the same times and are really close on the 60's. It seems that gearing doesn't make that big of a difference on a trans braked th400, except in driveability.

I'm moving to 3.08s in my 12bolt with the TB'd th400 for the street life too.

Based off the problems Jermey was facing when he tried his PT88 I think I will stay with my 3:50 gears to help spool some.

higher gears will make spooling worse, turbos want load, going 3.50 vs 3.00 your putting less load on the motor.

Maybe true, but he's not gonna be spooling that thing on the bottom. He needs the RPMS to get it moving. I'd look at a looser stall too, one that without lockup won't be very street-friendly
