Default Who runs a big cam with their FI?

I know this is a subject of controversy but lemme hear it. A couple of friends of mine are doing with no problem, but just wanna get some more input as I am thinking of putting a bumpier cam in to get rid of my dinky 228/232 at a 115. If I lose low end grunt, big whoop, that is what nitrous if for.

Are you doing is for the idle or for what reason?

383 with shaft mounts and solid roller valve train 630's lift also. It allows me to make power up in the 8000's........i got a t56 and am keeping it that way, so being able to rev it gives me alittle slack on the 1-2 shift. But my old pt88 made full boost at about 4500 rpm. I could have made it spool at about 4000 but their was no point..... it work fine.

Was told it wouldn't run well(it screams)
