Why isnt this room on fire with lsx block talk
Just when I was deciding not to build a sub 7 second ls1 car and motor combo!
The fact that nobody going fast has ever been able to keep heads down on ls1 motors, then fact that you have to spend alot of money in suspension to use that power.
Now after hearing about this MONSTER of a block im going to need bigger turbos and a good chassis shop, lol.

well for one that block and heads aren't proven yet. lets see some real world testing and see if these can really hold some power down without heads lifting. They should.
and they aren't available yet , they been saying they're gonna be releasing them since what last year?
they're gonna be expensive.
there's already a major waiting list.

are you talking about the gmpp block or the dart block?
i heard directly from hardcore racing that the gmpp block was designed by the wrong design team and is all screwed up. those guys are pretty much directly tied to gm in michigan.
the dart block sounds and looks good on paper but they still aren't out yet.

With the year long delay with the Warhawk blocks, I think a bunch of folks already dialed back their expectations.
I guess I'm open to the GMPP block, I'm sure it's excellent quality.
