You could have the exhaust manifolds ceramic coated if you like though the heat sheilds provided in the twin turbo system do protect other components.

No problem............I should have some base power/torque figures early next week.................don't expect too much power and torque as the system is only running low boost (7 PSI) on a very old LS1 engine for now.

So what will they be gated at..7psi then..?
The Base Tial wastegate srings are rated at 7-8 PSI...............ideal for a bone stock LS1 engine on 91 pump fuel.

If you're running Meth injection with 93 octane fuel I'd estimate to could run up to 11-12 PSI with a safe ignition timing and air fuel ratio strategy.

June already..............gee time passes quickly when you're busy............lol. Looks like the F body twin turbo project is running pretty much to schedule right now and a mid August despatch date for the systems if what we are planning on and I feel confident that we will meet that deadline. I will of course keep you updated over the coming weeks.

What are your expectations for the old engine?

Do you have a pic of the LS1 powered Mustang? By the way APS will start the SRT8 twin turbo development program in the very near future.

I am scheduled to have it back from paint tomorrow, however I get the feeling it isn't completed yet -- I went by earlier this week and it wasn't even in primer

The car is an 87 coupe, will be a nice two tone paint job, custom wheels, yadda yadda. The motor is fresh, just built, 8.9:1 compression ratio 346cid. Full leather custom interior, street/strip car. Not a cut up beat down drag car, this is something I'll be proud of and will drive everywhere

I probably shouldn't say this, but let me know as the SRT8 stuff comes down the pipe as well

i just read on the forum every once and a while and everytime pics come out my heart pumps.
I'm in Queensland right now, good ol' Townsville peter. Wish i could've stopped by melbourne instead and get a tour but oh well.

Is there a way we can pay for the kit earlier. It is easy to just spend the money in some random port, and i would rather get the whole payment thing out of the way.

I don't want to call anyone out because I love what APS has done for the fbody community in building this kit. One reason I love this kit is because it is so complete. So with all due respect ("I said with all due respect. That means I can say anything I want"- Ricky Bobby) why would APS not supply the blank-off plates for the EGR? I would bet that maybe 10% of people will leave their EGR in-tact. Is APS going to sell these as an accessory so that people don't have to go looking around on EBAY to find these?
