Peter,

I know this has been answered previosuly, I just don't feel like digging it up.

Which turbos is the F-Body getting? The C5 Vette, GTO, C6 Vette, or C6Z06 Vette turbos?

Peter,
I noticed that the windshield fluid reservoir is removed in the install. Is the stock reservoir going to be used with this kit? I have a meth kit that uses the w/w fluid reservoir as the meth tank.

I guess what I really mean to ask is: What is the best exhaust to compliment this Twin Turbo kit?

Thanks,

Filbert
Filbert, A true dual 3 inch exhaust with straight through style mufflers would be best ( either with a X or H pipe) as this style of exhaust will have the lowest exhaust back pressure which will help to spool the turbos more quickly and deliver more power and torque under the curve.

The APS turbo down pipes are 3 inch.

The turbos do help to quiten down exhaust nosie so you can run open style mufflers and still be much quiter than a NA or Supercharged engine.

Which brand of exhaust do you have on your car now?

A twin 3 inch system with an X or H pipe is best exhaust for a twin turbo application.

I currently have a stock exhaust with the cats removed.

I am just trying to find the best true duals exhaust for best performance.

Whether it be 2", 2.5", 2.75", or 3" with or without mufflers.

I will be running the pipes all the way to the back with tips as well.

Installing a single fuel pump into the stock F body fuel pick up unit is quite difficult to do (not impossible just time consuming and you need to be very careful not to break any of the original plastic parts in the fuel unit), for that reason I recommend using the APS drop in twin fuel pump system. This way you have instant fuel supply for around 600 rwhp with a set of 60 lb injectors and up to 1000 rwhp fuel supply if you replace the fuel line and fuel rails.

Sorry for the repost..............I'm not able to keep up with all of the questions on this thread.

I normally go one heat range colder and close the air gap by around 2 to 4 thou over the stock air gap on turbo engines, hope that helps.

Depending on what you guys can do I will either get this or the Racetronix pump system.
I would recommend that you go straight to the APS drop in twin fuel pumps system (see links below) as this way you have an instant 600 rwhp worth of fuel supply with a set of 60 lb injectors and when you're ready to get more serious with power there's no need to upgrade the fuel pumps or fuel reg. Just add a larger fuel supply line and fuel rails, move the fuel reg to the engine bay and use the original fuel supply line as the fuel return line and now you have a fuel system which will support 1000 rwhp.

The f Body twin turbo system has the identical turbos to the GTO and C5 ZO6 twin turbo systems.

So let me get this straight you dont recommend we get this: http://www.airpowersystems.com/gto/f...SLSX-FSS04.htm

Am I getting this correct?

Do you have a Bill Of Matterials on this kit?

I thought the above was all I needed to allow up to 540 WHP?

APS suppies a new stainless steel washer reservoir in the twin turbo system..............should be ideal for a meth injection reservoir.
