I've never seen the specs on GT7 cam, do you have the specs on this camshaft?

I think the AFR 225 heads (62 cc combustion chambers) are a better combination for a 346 cube twin turbo engine with the right spec turbo cam, obviously with the right pistons to end up with a static comp ratio of at least 9:1.

Default Peter!!!

I was hoping you guys might record a video of one run on the dyno(or a street drive) with the BOV's vented to the atmosphere.

I love the loud BOV sound and if you guys are going to be doing any more dyno time or test driving with the stock setup will you see if this is a possibility?

Thanks,

Filbert

LPE LS1, LS2 Camshafts 350-383-427, 208/230 .554/.546 121CL

Don't think they offer this one anymore. It would be pretty stealthy idle with the 121 lsa. And not that hard on springs with its pretty mellow lift. Also a pretty mellow cam in a 427 but thats ok with me I think. If don't like it then mabye go up a bit to a gt 11 or something although betting the stock ls7 cam is great too for turbos.

I like the specs of the LS1-GT 11 cam shaft for a twin turbo engine, 215/231 .631/.644 with 1.7 rocker ratio 118.0 CL, I'll use that cam in the F body forged engine, should be interesting to see the results.

Actually I am interested in this as well, especially for us first 50 buyers. I was also wondering if APS were to make any changes to the system after the first 50 buyers systems had shipped, if you would send us these updated parts/changes.

That would be cool..

Also will that GT 11 cam fit in a stock motor Ls1?
Also will that cam have a lope to it or more of a stock idle.

Haha ha ha ha... If we would have thought of looking at APS's website before asking we woulda found the answer.

In the Profile page of their website it states that there is a 3 month warranty against manufacturing defects.

I think the GT 11 would be a really awesome cam for a twin turbo LSx engine...............I'm hoping to get the new forged 346 cube twin turbo engine onto the engine dyno so I can back to back test a number of cams to see/measure the real performance gains from the different cam specs, should be really interesting work.

All turbo system parts are guaranteed to be free of any manufacturing defect for a 3 month period, that is APS's standard product warranty, hope that helps.

Thanks,

Peter

There won't be any production changes to the F body twin turbo system other than future optional up grade parts like bigger turbos, intercoolers, fuel systems, etc, etc.

Peter the turbos and intercooler is a big part of this kit! I woulod really like to have these options avalaible to the first 50 kits! I don't want to install it twice.

The GT11 does suit the LS1 engine and would be a nice cam for a twin turbo engine, cam will have some lope at idle.
