You should be fine with 10-12 PSI with high octane fuel though just be careful with the ignition timing advance around peak torque where cyl pressures are highest.

So true...............practical experience is always the best teacher about which is the right engine combination for your power goals.

Still on target for shipping F body twin turbo systems between the 15th to 17th of August 07. Around 30 systems will ship between those dates and the balance of twin turbo systems will ship a few days later. I will of course keep you all up dated on the actual despatch date and I will email out the final payment form to all of the guys in early August so there's no delays in getting the TT systems shipped out to you guys.

Oh... and the LSx Mustang I PM'ed you about, the motor is already built. 347cid LS6 block, Probe pistons, Eagle rods, stock 241 casting heads with a basic port job from Bo White (stock valves), LS6 intake manifold and stock throttle body. It's your run of the mill 8.8:1 compression ratio forged motor. The transmission is a built 4L60e, with a Precision Industries Vigilante 3200 RPM converter -- we'll see how long it lasts, then I'll go built 4L80e. The rear end is still an 8.8, but it has 31 spline Moser axles, C-clip elims, etc. I'll test-fit the F-car kit on there before it gets installed on the Firebird, and if things fit well I'll be in touch about another kit

Peter
yeah..the rest of the drivetrain is still stock and its gonna take a beating. im gonna run a Textralia exoskel clutch with the stock stuff untill the rear or trans decide to give up on me. after that...im going with a 9" and than a built T56.

Lol................I'm quite sure you will be very surprized at the power/torque potential from the base APS F body twin turbo turbochargers.

I'm fairly confident that the base F body twin turbo system will produce enough torque/power to break many stock F body drive trains.

That should prove to be a really strong drivetrain package...............I love the fact that the F body is very flexible in terms of rear end fitment (unlike the Corvette), all good.

Guys, Here's the first pic of the APS F body twin turbo system MAF delete hose, this part will be released by the end of Sept 07 if all goes to plan, enjoy! Do you guys like the steel reinforcement rings on ther MAF delete hose? This will ensure that the moulded 4 ply nomex reinforced silicone hose can cope with quite high boost pressures.

What do you mean by a few days later? Please dont try to sugar coat it, I want your honest opinion on how long the remaining 20 units will ship after the first 30 are sent out.
