We were very happy with how it all turned out. If the car makes decent power, i will be happy as can be.

Have you had a chance to start it and see how well those fans work?

the car has been started.. Fans are not wired up yet. We have all the wires right there, they just need to be connected.

Im not to worried about cooling with that rad, and those 2 fans, but if it doesn't cool enough it will suck.

Thanks,

radiator used is the same one as everyone elses in this thread, the cheap griffen radiator used and purchased from summit racing.

the turbo is an MPT70 which shares the same physical dimensions as any t3t4S housing * 4 inch inlet 2.5 outlet)

it is butted up to the fans and probably 1/2 inch away from the crank pully with a heim joint braced up to it.

Get a seperate trans cooler, preferably one with a fan mounted on it if you can find room for it.

Sideways, Great job on the fab work.. You have inspired me to tackle this project myself. I have access to a welder but i dont know how id make the radiator support. Also, did you do anything with the bottom support for the radiator? This all looks fairly easy with a decent amount of mechanical know how.

Dont forget broke ef. I would not of done this turbo build if it wasn't for him talking me into it. I was going to do big cam with heads, and maybe spray... He changed my mind, and im happy he did, and he has been there every day i have worked on the car, even though his gf may have wanted to kill him.(thanks erica for letting me steal your bf)

Anyways. This is the best pic of the lower brackets that we did. More or less its just a 90 bolted to lower radiator support with boat weather stripping on them. Foam stuff is not on in the picture, but it will stop the lower part of the radiator from coming towards the motor at all.

Let me know if you got any other questions.

Does anyone have any close up pictures of the FLX-220 fans and how they cut/notched them to fit on the griffin radiator. It was my mistake to think the two would fit without having to hack the $200 fans up.

Thanks,
-Jarrod

Lower corner has to be holesawed....other than that the 220's fit very nicely.
NO sticky, already too many....search works for this perfectly.

Thanks for the pics...as for the search I couldn't find any pictures on, just a bunch of posts where people were using/recommending it. What did you put in the search block? Learn me man!
