Default Ran my TT 01 SS at the track tonight

Ran my SS tonight, nothing that great but I thought I would share the results. The car is so quiet the tech guy after looking at my helmet commented that I probably wouldn't even need it.

This is with the Speed Inc. street twin turbo system, GT35R turbos, 347ci aluminum motor with scat I-beams and Diamond flat top pistons, stock truck heads with stainless valves, patriot springs, 216/216 cam, SLP 20TL exhaust.

LS7 clutch, stock rearend with 3.73's and 275 40 17 BFG KDWS. Runs were made with 9psi boost which is 575rwhp.

First run was-

60ft- 2.394

1/8 8.192

1/8mph 100.45

1/4 12.065

1/4mph 129.53

Second run was aborted due to tirespin (in reality all runs should have been aborted due to tirespin)

Third run-

60ft 2.222

1/8 8.016

1/8 mph 100.82

1/4 11.865

1/4 mph 130.24

So, et sucked as I expected though I am pleased with 130mph @ 9psi boost

Nah, not really. I ran 10.8 with my LT1 on Goodyear eagles and even that wasn't scary.

Awesome, I bet the tech guy would have scratched his head after seeing the 130 trap speed.

INTMD8...funny about the tech guy. I have had folks ask me why I had slicks on the car. Turbos are kick *** that way. Really good numbers for 9psi and those tires. I have found that our local track doesnt do as well on street tires as I can do on the street.

You're crazy to run on street radials.
That's true street trim right there. Nothing wrong with trapping 130mph on low boost.

Thanks everyone

And yes it was running 93 octane. I should have a 9in/tires/more boost within the next few weeks.

KDWS...ouch. Hows that LS7 clutch holding up? Ive been told 450-475rwhp is about all theyre good for. 550+ seems like it would be pushing it?
