Default OFI low/med boost results

the bad...alternator crapped out on the 3rd pass....gotta wrap the dp where it is close to the alternator....heat and an autozone alternator ...not a good combo

1st pass 11.5 psi
1.85ish 60'
10.48 @ 137
2 psi on the 2 step

2nd pass 11.5 psi
1.75ish 60'
10.22 @ 137
2.6 psi on 2 step and leaned the lower boost areas out a tick

3rd pass 11.5psi
1.67 60'.....alternator pooped.....had leaned out the lower boost sections a little more.

I was trying to get a 9 sec pass at 11.5 psi and then crank up the boost but the car would fall on its face out of the hole...I am assuming from being too rich and I found a plug wire almost all the way off when i was removing the alternator.

car weighs 3960 raceweight...heavier than i had expected but means its making good power for low boost. 60' traction was never an issue...just not a good tune down low...not much boost on launch.

I was running 12.5 to 14.5 timing and 110 octane.....10.0-11.5 a/f....trying to start conservative....get it really dialed in and shove the boost to it. Next weekend, I hope to get stuff close enuff to run 18psi or so.

http://cablebandit.net/videos/sdr10-22.MP4 no sound and it looks like the same launch Mightymouse has in his vid

Great start Jerry. 6psi on the 2 step will fix the 60. What rpm is the 2step set at?

137mph at 11 psi is killer.

3300 that time Tom....3500 at Steele netted a 1.49 and that was like 4-4.5 psi. I am just trying to get this thing halfway efficient instead of just throwing power at it. I know eventually I will be 4000 on the 2step but i wanna work on it slowly so I can see what effect changes are having.

Nice start. Looks like you have a lot left in the set-up. Looks like the car was on a lazy summer drive - but at 137mph Gremins will get you every time. Good luck on the rest of the season.

Best part is 2 of my friends were there..B1er and Quicksilverado and we had a good time shooting' tha ****! Goin to the track with my friends is what its all about!!!

My wife saw the launch on the vid and asked if it was slow motion!
I am really happy with the turbo and the performance of the OFI kit....moving this sled that fast at such low boost is pretty awesome.
