Now It's time to get serious Well I'm going off the deep end. I have all my finaces in order and am ready to buy some parts. This is what I plan on buying next week. 2 x T04E "50" trim turbonetics turbochargers turbonetics godzilla blow-off valve. 2 x turbonetics racegates all going on a 8.5cr stock cid intercooler is still not decided not sure about the engine management yet. hoping for 600-700 rwhp ... initialy I would like know what anybody has to say. i.e. about the set-up, suggestions on engine management, anything |
Re: Now It's time to get serious Sounds like fun, I have in my possession an imported pcm controller that should handle that power level... From the sounds of things there will be at least two companies with pcm controllers available over the summer. |
Re: Now It's time to get serious ya i just emailed you about that. Shoot me back soon I'm realy interested in it. As of now we're thinking about using a holley commander 950. |
Re: Now It's time to get serious I'd hold off on buying the controller, I'd wait at least 30 days... I thought about running that unit too but I don't think the gauges will work with it? I got your email. Most of you turbo guys run air/air coolers. |

Re: Now It's time to get serious Turbonetics isn't know for there quality. I would get the turbos from a nice vendor, they should be about $650 a pop. Then run Tial wastegates which are about $220 a piece. Much higher quality and better working equipment. I run turbos from www.agpturbo.com . I should giving them a call before ordering anything. |
Re: Now It's time to get serious Thanks for the link unreal. I'll give them a call. The reason I decided to go with Turbonetics is that's what they used on the halltech tt kit for the C-5. It looks like a pretty high quality turbo system so I figured if its good engough for them it's good engough for me. |
