Default Can we discuss air filters?

I was looking at a member's pictures and notice a K&N type cone air filter on the intake side of this humongous turbo. Made me wonder about air filters and CFM flow. I played with a dyno simulator program a number of years ago and one of the things it spit out was the expected CFM flow at max rpm. A normally aspirated motor putting out about 425 hp was well over 600 cfm if I remember right. I took a look at the K&N site and didn't find the flow numbers for their filters. When I was doing a build up back in the 1990's those numbers were available and I ended up needing a bigger filter than I would have guessed. Any concerns about this here?
